This series of sketched paintings are done on the edge of the time and place whenever and wherever I was able and they are a reference to Mikhail Boulgakov’s “Notes on a cuff”. The technique is acrylic on unprepared canvas and the effect I am searching for is of a quick, spontaneous sketch.
